Police continue sensitization campaign against Covid-19

The Department of Community Policing headed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Anatoli Muleterwa is continuing its efforts to sensitive police officers and members of the public against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, the team met the personnel from Fire Prevention and Rescue Services and their spouses.

The officers and their spouses were offered key prevention tools against the pandemic.

The team also met with the business community of Nakasero Market.

ACP Muleterwa reminded them that the threat posed by the pandemic noting that the way we respond to the directives and guidelines issued by government is very key in determining the defeat of the spread of the coronavirus.

“Let’s continue maintaining social distancing and adopt changes in our behavior as we move forward,” he noted.

To the officers, he warned them against the use of excessive force while enforcing the directives.
