Open door marathon on tomorrow 25th May 2014

The John Akii-Bua memorial police centenary marathon that is on tomorrow is open to all.

The marathon, which aims at contributing proceeds to acid victims starts at 7:00am Kololo airstrip and participation is for free to all healthy and able persons.

The marathon intends to bring together the public, the police both active and retired. All those interested should feel free to invite a friend or two.

The marathon organizing committee has put together a competent team of medical personnel, ambulances and water for refreshment will be accessible at many points during the marathon.

Free T-Shirts will also be availed to the participants before the marathon starts.

The chief runner of the day is the Rt. Hon. Speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga. Chief at the marathon will also be the minister of Internal Affairs Gen. Aronda Nyakayirima and the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura, accompanied by several other senior officers and members of the public.

So, are you a well wisher, an interested Ugandan or fun loving, do not miss out at the Kololo event tomorrow at 7:00am.
