MUBENDE- Police is investigating circumstances under which a male adult was murdered in Katugo, Kakungube Trading Center in Mubende on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Robert Kayiira aged 30.
Information we have so far is that he was attacked by unknown persons at night. He was found in the morning laying a pool of blood, rushed to Kiganda Health Center IV but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Norbert Ochom, our spokesperson in that region has confirmed the incident. He said the deceased was found with a deep cut implying that he was hit with a sharp object. The body is at the hospital for postmortem and soon after the exercise it will be handed over to relatives for burial. The matter has been recorded Vide CRR/057/2018.
