Kiboga- Police in Kiboga has arrested a man who assaulted a woman who later died.
It’s alleged that the deceased was assaulted by Mutimara Korodina on the 21/7/2018 at about 1800hrs.
Eyewitnesses say the deceased fell down and started wailing for help. However, on the 22/7/2018, her condition worsened.
She was then rushed to a local clinic called “Doctors Clinic” at Muwanga Trading Centre from where she was diagnosed with malaria.
Treatment is said to have commenced. In a disturbing U-turn though, about 2300hrs of 22/7/18, she passed on.
The scene of crime was visited by the officers in charge. Post-mortem was done.
Our Regional Spokesperson Norbert Ochom has confirmed the incident said inquiries are ongoing. The suspect was arrested and he is being interrogated.
