A six man security delegation from the Carabinieri, Italy led by the Head of International Cooperation branch, Carabinieri Headquarters Col. T Issmi Giuseppe Battanglia arrived in Uganda on 16th November 2014 on a three day working visit to the Inspector General of Police to promote further the working relationship between the Uganda and Italian police (the Carabinieri) and identify areas for better co-operation and capacity building.
During their visit, the delegation will inspect the various police facilities that will include the directorate of Forensics and Counter- terrorism, to help verify areas for improvement.
Among the guests was Col. CC.Guiseppe Battagala Garabinieri, the head of international co-operation, Col .Francesco Ruggiero, Defence Attaché, Embassy of Italy and Stephano Antelline, Deputy Defense attaché, Embassy of Italy.
