He belonged to the first crop of cadets to be trained by Uganda Police Force after the fall of President Idi Amin. They were 27 in number with only one lady- Rtd. AIGP Elizabeth Muwanga.

After the completion of the initial course, he was posted to Gulu Police Station, Eastern Region as Regional Special Branch Officer, Deputy Regional Special Brach Officer-Kampala, Regional Special Branch officer North East, South Western Regional Special Branch Officer, Special Branch Headquarters, Deputy Director Special Brach, Director Administration at Police Headquarters among others.

By his death, the family members, the Uganda Police Force and the Country at large have been robbed of a dedicated citizen with high integrity, commitment and experience in Policing and crime prevention.
