We however, registered un unfortunate incident in Bundibugyo, where two Muslims were electrocuted to death. The facts gathered indicate that four male adults, volunteered to transfer the big tent from Centenary Bank, Bundibugyo, to the prayer place. Unfortunately, as they raised the tent, one of the tips touched the high voltage electric wire line, which electrocuted the victims. A one Rashid Hilly, a 22 year old, resident of Kanyansibi village, Bundibugyo Trading Centre, died on the spot. The three other victims were rushed to Gadaffi Health Centre and Bundibugyo General Hospital, where a second victim succumbed to the injuries. The two other victims were treated for minor injuries and discharged.

We want to thank all our territorial commanders and security personnel for their tireless efforts, and further thank all the Muslim leaders, the local leaders and the wider community for their level of cooperation, support and alertness.
