Accident: 3 Knocked Dead

KABALE– Police is investigating circumstances under which three people were knocked by a speeding car.
The victims have been identified as James Kato, a resident of Nyarutuntu cell in Butobere ward, Central division.
Two others whose particulars we are yet to establish are admitted at Kabale Referral Hospital.
Eyewitnesses say a motor vehicle, Toyota corolla registration number UAH 904 L being driven by yet unknown person rammed in to three people, a cobbler at his place of work opposite Kabale Taxi Park while others are a Boda Boda rider and hawker.
Police visited the scene earlier today.
The vehicle has been towed to Kabale police station while the preliminary cause of the accident was reckless driving.
