RENEWED THREAT OF AL-SHABAAB TERROR ATTACK ON UGANDA

Information has been received on the dispatch of a team of seven Al-Shabaab operatives from Somalia to Uganda to carry out  terror activities.

 The particulars of the Seven are;

  1. Abdul Malim;
  2. Abdul Gadusi Haji Dahir;
  3. Abdul Wahas Muhamed Kulmye;
  4. Jammac Abdikadir Farah;
  5. Sulaiman Abdulla Raggi;
  6. Faisal Siyad Abubaker; and
  7. Mohamed Nuru Kassim Warasame;

Two of them in the names of Abdul Malim and Abdul Gadusi Haji Dahir are reported to be already in the Country while the othe five are still in Kenya.

The public are warned to take extra caution on their personal security and surroundings.

They should be vigilant, observant and suspicious of people, objects, motor vehicles and other characters around them.

The Uganda Police Force and all security agencies have increased visibility and counter terrorism measures and are working hand in hand to prevent any possible terror attack on Uganda.
