The Rwandan Commissioner General of Police, Mr. Emmanuel K Gasana is on a three days visit to Uganda to follow up the Eastern African Police Chiefs Co-operation (EAPCCO) resolutions and its implementation status since 2011 of his election as the chairman of the association. While addressing journalists at Police headquarters he said that “it is mandatory for the EAPCCO chairman to visit member states during the period of one years’ leadership.” His visit to Uganda is also to look through the bi-lateral arrangements by inspecting road safety in the northern Corridor like Katuna, Kisoro, Cyanika and Bunagana.

The Rwandan Commissioner General of Police, Emmanuel Gasana has arrived in Uganda for a three day state visit. The Rwandan CG was received by his counter- part, Lt. Gen. Kale Kayihura at Entebbe International Airport. Other Police officials that welcomed the CG were the Director Interpol Uganda, Asan Kasingye, Director Counter Terrorism, Nduguse, and Deputy Director Chief Political Commissar Judith Nabakooba.
