The Uganda police force is investigating circumstances under which Ochola Patrick, a defense secretary of Yoka zone, Kanyogoga Bukasa parish in Makindye division was found drowned in a drainage after a heavy rain down pour on 06 September 2014.
The defense secretary is alleged to have failed to cross the drainage due to drunkenness. The area police from Kabalagala police station visited the scene and retrieved the body to Mulago hospital for postmortem.
The Uganda police force continues to encourage parents to secure their children in the rainy season especially in places with poor drainage. Excessive drinking is harmful to health and the force urges all Ugandans to desist from such risky behaviors.
