Statistics may be defined as the science involving the collection, interpretation, analysis, summarizing, and presentation of numerical data. As an institution officially known to fight crime in the country, keeping track of crime records will not only keep the country informed of the rate of occurrence of these crimes, but will also provide a basis for self evaluation of the Police performance.
